Listen Dance
A Little Bulb Production
Listen Dance is an evening of social dance, led by a genre-hopping live band, punctuated with intimate theatre moments, from the Olivier award-winning Little Bulb.
Imagine a barn dance where each dance is a different genre. Each performer in the Little Bulb Band teaches the crowd a dance that means something to them, whether that’s disco, the hora or the electric slide. The result? An encouraging, exciting and welcoming place to dance. A space to try something new. A celebration of dancing socially across cultures. A proper good night out. The aim of this show is to celebrate the many different ways that people like to dance. To create a playful and welcoming space for audiences to connect with their community, to dance in ways that are familiar, and to try something new. To connect with history, to access the present and to imagine the future of social dance.
